
Trinity College senior captain midfielder Anthony El-Hachem of Vernon was named to the 2012 All-NESCAC Men's Soccer Team for the second consecutive season, and was chosen as a New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) All-Star. El-Hachem played in the NEISL All-Star game held at Harvard University in November.
The Bantam men’s soccer squad, coached by Michael Pilger (ninth Season), finished the 2012 season with a 5-6-4 overall and a 3-5-2 mark in the NESCAC. Trinity lost, 2-1, at Wesleyan in the NESCAC Quarterfinals.
El-Hachem, a 2011 All-New England First Team honoree and an All-NESCAC Second Teamer, started all 15 games at midfielder in 2012, leading the team in scoring with 11 points on four goals (tied for team lead) and a team-high three assists. He took a team-high 32 shots and was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks.

El-Hachem is a three-time member of the NESCAC All-Academic Team and a two-time NSCAA Scholar All-American selection, and represented the Bantams on the 2010 NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team. In his outstanding career, El-Hachem scored 11 goals, including five-game-winners, with nine assists for 31 points on 108 shots in 63 games (tied College record) for the Bantams.
A graduate of East Catholic High School, El-Hachem is majoring in economics and International Studies with a minor in Arabic at Trinity. He is the son of Fadi and Asma El-Hachem.
