
The new Vernon Community Arts Center is oiffering a selection of summer classes and workshops in art, writing, drama, photography, and nutrition.
The arts center is located at 709 Hartford Turnpike.

The classes are slated to begin in mid-July and vary in length from one day workshops to six weekly sessions. The teachers are experienced, well-qualified practitioners of the respective ir art. Some classes are designed for adults and others for young adults.
The Vernon Community Arts Center is a former schoolhouse that ws recently transformed into a state-of-the-art facility. The center officially opened on June 9 with a juried art show.
