American International College, Springfield MA

• More than 600 graduate and undergraduate students representing 22 states and nine countries received degrees from American International College at the 134th Commencement on May 11, 2019. Danielle Faucher, of Vernon, received a bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• American International College (AIC) has named 463 students to the spring 2019 Dean's List. Dean's List students are full time students who have achieved a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA. Among those recognized are Ashley Barile and Danielle Faucher, both of Vernon.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education held its annual year-end award ceremony and Alpha Upsilon Chi honor society induction ceremony on May 2. Among the honored was Brett Montminy of Vernon, who majors in Sport & Leisure Management. Montminy was presented with the Senior Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in Sport & Leisure Management.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Nicole Cohen of Vernon graduated from Tufts University on May 19, 2019 with a degree in English (BA), Summa Cum Laude during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured an address by award-winning actress and activist Alfre Woodard.
