Center Road School in Vernon dedicated a memorial to Mary Jo Myslinski, a former principal.
Myslinski was the principal of the school from 2002 until 2010 when she retired due to a rare spinal tumor. She passed away in January 2014, according to the Hartford Courant.
A wall was painted with a memorial of things that were important to Myslinski, especially children reading.
