Driver In Vernon 3-Car Crash Tests Way Over DUI Limit: Police
A driver involved in a three-car crash in Vernon this week tested nearly three times over the blood alcohol limit, police said.

VERNON, CT — Monday's three-car crash on a busy intersection in Vernon was caused by a drunken driver nearly three times over the limit, police said.
A report on the crash at the intersection of Union and West streets was released Thursday.
According to the report, the driver determined to be at fault, a 36-year-old Vernon woman, not only failed field sobriety tests, but tested first for a blood alcohol level of .2154 and the second test registered .2024. The state standard for impaired driving is .08.
