- Family Program: Teddy Bear Picnic - Tuesday, February 22 - 10:00am - 11:00am - Free with General Admission - Bring your favorite teddy bear, stuffed animal or doll and join the museum for an indoor Teddy Bear Picnic where folks will have lots of fun and stay toasty warm. There will be a story, you'll make a craft and enjoy a snack.
- Family Program: African-American Folktales Performance - Wednesday, February 23 - 11:00am - Free with General Admission - Listen as master storyteller Gwendolyn Quezaire-Presutti uses traditional storytelling methods to weave together a tapestry of words, sounds and movements. Everyone will learn and delight in the African-American animal tales of Brer Rabbit.
- Scrapbooking Workshop - Thursday, February 24 - 3:00pm - 4:30pm - Free with General Admission - This "Scrapbooking 101" course will be offered by an instructor from Wethersfield's Wiggles & Giggles Scrapbooking Store. Participants will learn basic scrapbooking vocabulary and techniques. Please bring your own photographs, supplies and tools will be provided. This fun, hands-on course is designed for beginners or groups of friends. Recommended for ages 12 and up - perfect for adults too. Reservations are necessary. - Celebrate Connecticut Students Day - Friday, February 25 - 9:00am - 5:00pm - Free museum admission for all Connecticut students - All students will receive free museum admission when accompanied by a paying adult. Enjoy hands-on and interactive exhibits that are great for all ages.
