Kindergarten Students At Vernon's Center Road School Students Tie-Dye on Spirit Day

VERNON, CT - It was time for kindergarten students at Center Road School to show a little spirit on Spirit Day.

And that meant coloring tie-dyed shirts on Thursday afternoon in the school's colors - green and white.

As teachers worked the buckets, the children dipped their shirts into green coloring, squeezed out the excess and then left them to dry.

When finished, they will be used for future spirit days, which take place periodically during the school year.
