Man Wanted for 13 Years Snagged in Vernon on 6 Warrants
A man who has been hiding from police for more than a decade was served six warrants last week.

VERNON, CT — A man who has been avoiding police for 13 years was served six warrants last week, Vernon police said.
According to a police report, Jonathan Booker, 33, had six outstanding warrants. Attempts to serve him for the past 13 years have been unsuccessful, according to a report.
He was located working as a salesman in New Britain at Prestige Auto Cars and arrested. Police are familiar with Prestige after a salesman at the Vernon location, apparently showing off for a local radio personality, was charged with driving a Lamborghini 100 miles per hour on Route 83 during the dealership's grand opening party.

Booker's warrants were:
- Failing to appear on a second-degree larceny from March 9, 2005
- 2 for failing to appear on interfering and driving while under suspension from March 8 and March 16, 2005
- 2 for violating probation in a second-degree larceny casefrom March 15, 2005
- Failing to respond to a simple trespass infraction from April 12, 2005
He posted $11,000 in bonds and has a court date of Feb. 20, according to court records.
