Mayor Floored by the New-Look Pancho Loco

He cut the ribbon on Thursday.

Mayor Daniel Champagne on Thursday took the opportunity for his first ribbon-cutting to honor an old culinary friend.

It was time to unveil the new-look Pancho Loco.

The Mexican restaurant, located at 218 Talcottville Road, known for its fajitas and salsa …

OK and the chimichangas …

... has been around since 1997 and owner William Goff has been wanting to do the interior over for a while now. He and his mom have been working on the seats and he has put in outdoor seating.

But the floors.

The floors he has been wanting to do for some time, so he closed for your days and pout a commercial finish on them that brings out the natural color of the hardwood.

It keeps the rustic, casual feel while adding a cleaner look, he said.

Champagne read a mayoral proclamation honoring Goff for his years of service to the town.
