New Building Taking Shape on Route 83 in Vernon

VERNON, CT — The frame is up for the new Scranton Motors Powersports building on Route 83.

The project is located on the curve on the 700 block of Talcottville Road, the local name for that section of Route 83. It is next door to the main Scranton Motors dealership.

Scranton Powersports is currently located down the road at the site of a former bank at 560 Talcottville Road.

Vernon Economic Development Coordinator Shaun Gately said the new Scranton building should be completed by the end of the month.
