The latest installment of the Picture Vernon series.
VERNON, CT — The top of the hill at Vernon Center Middle School is a good spot to take in a little fall foliage and the view this week was the perfect time for the latest installment of the Picture Vernon series.
A road leads to the spot from the back driveway at VCMS.
The area sports one of the most scenic disc golf courses in north central Connecticut — Eckert Hill— along with athletic fields and a community garden.
