Police: Man Tried to Sneak $425 Worth of Stuff Out of Vernon KMart

He was caught and charged, police said.

VERNON,CT — A Stafford man is due in court on Oct. 4 after he was caught shoplifting at the local KMart, Vernon police said.

Police were called to KMart, 295 Hartford Turnpike, at 3:52 p.m. on September 24 after Dylan Ulitsch, 23, of West Stafford Road, Stafford, was caught concealing $425 worth of merchandise and then trying to sneak it out of the store, police said.

He eventually admittd to the crime and was charged with sixth-degree larceny, police said.
