Public Hearings Postponed Due to PZC Meeting Cancellation
The public hearings have been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7:30 p.m.

A pair of public hearings that had been set for Thursday night were not held due to cancellation of the Planning and Zoning meeting.
The Journal Inquirer reported the meeting was canceled due to the lack of a posted agenda.
One application is for a proposed Cumberland Farms store and gas station at 343 Hartford Turnpike, which has been vacant for 10 yeasrs since Bennigan’s Restaurant closed. The other is for rezoning a house at 32 School Street to accommodate four homeless families, the paper reported.
