Rein's Deli Taking A Week Off From Culinary Fame For Renovations
Rein's Deli in Vernon will be closed for a week for renovations, officials said.

VERNON, CT — Residents of north central Connecticut and travelers from Interstate 84 will have to live without Vernon's most famous restaurant for a week. Rein's Deli has announced renovations that require a temporary closure.
The closure is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Feb. 5 and Rein's is slated to re-open at noon on Feb. 13.
Rein's officials said the renovations include new flooring, takeout area improvements and new equipment.

Updates will be provided on theRein's homepage online, officials said.
Rein's is located on Route 30 in Vernon and is famous for traditional New York deli specialties like Matzo ball soup, bagels and lox and chopped liver. It's also known for its Reubens and other sandwiches along with meal specials.
