RHS Girls Tennis Team Completes Its Season

The girls tennis team, finished its season on Thursday with a 7-0loss to Wethersfield at home.

The Rams wound up with a 7-9 record. The RHS No. 1 doubles team of 1 Jai Li and Katherine Cutting made the individual state matches, scheduled for  June 2 at Yale University.

• Amy Wilson (W) def. Nicole Ciampa (R) 6-2, 6-4.

• Kristen Ciampi (W) def. Mary Shane (R) 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles

• Kerri-Ann Libera/Grace Maluccio (W) def. Katherine Cutting/Jai Li (R) 6-4, 7-6.

• Lindsay Pederson/Kacey Hill (W) def. Petra Martinelli/Sarah Shane (R) 6-4, 2-6, 6-1.

• Lindsey Coianelo/Colleen Cloonan (W) def. Rachael Shane/Emily Wilde (R) 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.
