Rockville High School Students to be Featured in 2017 Connecticut Student Writers Magazine
The students will be officially honored at UConn's Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in May.
VERNON, CT — Rockville High School will have four published pieces and 39 honorable mentions in the University of Connecticut's 2017 Connecticut Student Writers Magazine.
The students will be honored at UConn's Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on May 11.
It is the most Rockville students ever honored (last year RHS had 10).

Rockville had winners in every category (fiction, poetry, non-fiction) and RHS students won more awards than any other high school in the state.
Vernon Center Middle School also had a published writer and an honorable mention with the after-school creative writing club that Kathi Gudmundson and Regina Lee run.
