Friday night was tough for the Rams, as they fell 45 to 29 to the Rocky Hill Terriers.
The teams had won their season opening games and came into the matchup 1-0, but it was Rocky Hill that was able to advance to 2-0.
Emily Anderson got the Terriers off to a fast start while scoring the first eight points of the game for Rocky Hills as the team took an early 10-1 lead. The Terriers would never look back, as they took a 28-11 lead into halftime with some tough defense pressuring the Rams.

Anderson and Alexa St. Germaine provided a dominating presence in the paint for the Terriers that forced Rockville into many shots on the outside perimeter. Anderson finished with 10 points while St. Germaine and Val Kobialka each finished with eight points.
Rockville had a tough time getting points on the board, but played aggressive defense forcing the Terriers into many turnovers.

Courtney Joubert finished with a team leading nine points for the Rams and added two assists. Danielle Wemmell provided strong defense for the Rams while also adding 6 points on the offensive end.
Rockville head coach Craig Archambault said after the game that while the defense has improved since the last few scrimmages and the opening season game but now the offense just has to start clicking.
Kelsey Brennan and Audrey Olivia hit buzzer beating three pointers for Rocky Hill in the first half. Brennan hit hers as time was winding down in the first quarter and Oliva sunk her shot as time expired right before halftime.
Next up for Rocky Hill, the Terriers will try to improve to 3-0 with an away game against Windsor on Tuesday at 7 p.m. That game will be the third of four away games to open the season for the Terriers before their first home game on December 22.
Rockville will take on East Hartford on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at East Hartford High School.
