Strong Family Farm Annual 5K Chicken Run Rescheduled

The Strong Family Farm 7th Annual 5K Chicken Run has been rescheduled for June 28. Runners can participate in a 5K Run or 1.5 Mile Walk and a ¼ mile kids fun run. Check-in begins at 7:30am. Kids run at 8:30am and the 5K Run/ 1.5 Mile Walk begins at 9:00am.

Runners can easily register online or download a paper form from www.strongfamilyfarm.org. The first 100 people to register get free t-shirts!

This has quickly become a favorite community event at the Farm. A host of fun free family activities will accompany the Chicken Run. The chickens from the Backyard Chicken program will be there, plus a special appearance from Clucky T. Rooster and rabbits from the Hop-A-Long 4-H Club. Runners will have water along the course, as well as snacks and fresh fruit at the finish. The Farm Store will be open with eggs, jams, relishes, and baked items from LuAnn’s Bakery. And browse the Vintage Tools & Treasures shop while you’re at it!
