Tenant Ready To Occupy Old Cumby's In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A financial institution is set to occupany an old Cumberland Farms parcel on Route 83 in Vernon.

Vernon Economic Development Coordinator Shaun Gately said Friday that a branch of 360 Federal Credit Union is set to go there. The local address of the parcel is 413 Talcottville Road.

Workers were seen inside the building this week and Gately said the former store could be converted into a credit union and be ready to open this spring.

The building has been vacant for years since Cumberland Farms decided to build a new, modern store just down Route 83. Cumby's has also built a location on Route 30 in Vernon.
