Theater Returns to Downtown Vernon

Following the success of this summer’s Meet on the Street fests, the Vernon Cultural Districts' celebration of arts continues with Death Takes a Bow, an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater experience taking place on Sat. October 10, 2026 in the Rockville Library's main reading room.

Enjoy an evening of intrigue, laughter and delicious food as you step back in time to the historic White Tulip, the seediest theater in London. You'll meet a shady cast of characters who claim their "interest" in saving the old theater. Become part of the story and help uncover the culprit before the final curtain falls.

Whether you’re a lifelong theater lover or you're looking for a great night of entertainment, Death Takes a Bow invites you to take your seat, join the cast, and experience the magic of live theater in one of Vernon's finest historic buildings.

Your ticket price includes catered meal from Beckers Catering, and the performance by the Acme Mystery Company. Show is rated PG 13 for some adult humor and, after all, the subject is...murder!

There are two showtimes 2:00 pm-Matinee or 6:00 pm Evening. Seating is limited and group reservations are recommended.
