Tricky Intersection Gets a New Stop Sign

There's a new stop sign in the Rockville section of town. 

At a tricky intersection. 

A highway crew from the Department of Public Works this week put the finishing touches on an intersection improvement at School and Prospect streets. 

And it comes with a warning, by way of a temporary sign mounted on a DPW traffic barrier that says, "New stop sign ahead." The sign is placed just to the courthouse side of the Fore Your Convenience store. 

The stop sign will arguably make navigating the angle at the intersection  a little easier. The section of road also involves vehicles entering and exiting Mountain St.
