Unique Disaster Relief Truck Slates Appearance In Vernon
A unique disaster relief vehicle is slated to make an appearance in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — One of most unique disaster relief vehicles in the nation is scheduled to pay a visit to Vernon this weekend.
It's the Duracell PowerForward Truck, the 11-foot tall vehicle that assists communities during natural disasters, is scheduled for a stop at the Vernon Stop & Shop on Saturday. The crew will talk to shoppers about winter storm preparedness and safety from 2 to 6 p.m.
The Vernon Stop & Shop is located at 10 Pitkin Road.
