Vernon BOE Addresses School Facility Concerns

The Vernon Board of Education updated residents on the state of athletic facilities at Rockville High School and Vernon Middle School.

Some residents were concerned about ventilation in the gyms, lighting and ceiling tiles that needed to be replaced, according to the Hartford Courant.

Some of those items have been fixed and other items are out to bid to be fixed, said Vernon Director of Public Works Robert Kleinhans.
