Vernon Center Road School Briefly Evacuated Due to Gas Leak
Students and staff were outside of building for a half an hour while gas was being turned off.
Center Road School was briefly evacuated Wednesday morning due to a gas leak at a meter outside the school, NBC Connecticut reports.
The school was evacuated at 8:!5 a.m. and students and staff were back in by 8:45 a.m. after the gas was shut off.
