VERNON, CT — The Vernon Town Council on Tuesday adopted a resolution that denounced the possibility of an electronic tolling tower along a nearby stretch of Interstate-84.
Several sources indicated a target area for a toll tower is near the Vernon-Machester line.
There were disagreements along party lines as to the impact of the tower. Nevertheless, the resolution passed.
