Vernon Historical Society Offering Weekend Bargains At Book Sale
The popular Vernon Historical Society book sale is offering bargains this weekend.
VERNON, CT — The popular Vernon Historical Society book sale is offering all books, excluding special price books, at half-price this Saturday and Sunday.
The sale has been taking place at the society headquarters, 734 Hartford Turnpike. It features both hardcover and paperback books over 85 different topics.
Ficton works are alphabetized by the authors' last names. Others are sorted by category. There is even a "media room" with assorted music. One corner even has vintage records. There is also a cookbook room.

The sale generates about a third of the society's revenues annually.
