Vernon Little League Postpones Hit-A-Thon

With a wet forecast for this weekend and most of next week, the Vernon Little League has called off its hit-a-thon for Sunday and is waiting through next weekend to reschedule it.

League president Kim Aliczi said the league will be playing it on the safe said and reserve the fields next Sunday for make-up games.

She said the league will reschedule the hit-a-thon for a date to be determined.

The hit-a-thin will happen,'' she said. "We just don't know exactly when yet, so stay tuned.''
