Vernon Man Arrested for 5th Time in 2018
Friday's arrest of a Vernon resident marked the fifth time he has been charged with crimes in 2018.

VERNON, CT — Friday's arrest of a Vernon resident marked the fifth time he has been charged with a crime in 2018, police records show.
The latest incident involving 53-year-old William Doucette took place at 2:19 p.m. Friday at his Robert Road home. He and a roommate were drunk and had already been warned to behave by police, according to a report.
Apparently, Doucette didn't listen, because, according to a report, he was mad that police were called initially and broke into a bedroom the roommate and one other had locked themselves into and took a television. In trying to carry it, he bumped into a bookshelf and sent items flying, according to a report.
