Vernon Police Confirm Identity Of Man Pulled From Lake
Police on Wednesday morning released the identity of a man pulled from Vernon's Tankerhoosen Lake.

VERNON, CT — Police on Wednesday morning confirmed that the man pulled from Tankerhoosen Lake a day earlier was indeed a resident reported missing over the weekend.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has scheduled an autopsy for this morning, but, based on a preliminary investigation, police do not suspect his death to involve foul play.
Nashawn Harvey, 43, of Vernon, had been reported missing on Sunday, prompting authorities to begin a search on land and in nearby bodies of water.

On Tuesday, police divers from the Capital Region Emergency Services Dive Team assisted Vernon detectives and located Harvey’s body in Tankerhoosen Lake. Police immediately suspected it was him.
