Vernon Rec Officials to Wait About Weather and Thursday Concert Location

VERNON, CT — Local parks and recreation officials said they will be making a game-time decision on whether to move Thursday's installment of the Mayor Daniel Champagne Concert Series to the Senior Center hall or keep it outdoors at Henry Park.

The National Weather Service said there is a chance for some stormy weather Thursday.

A decision should be made by 5 p.m., officials said.

The Radio Ranch Band is slated to take the stage at 7 p.m. in a show sponsored by Superior Energy.

If the show is at Henry Park, residents should bring lawn chairs. Thew check on the location, call 860-870-3520.
