Summer Outdoor Concert Series Returning to Vernon's Henry Park

Bring the law chairs for the first show on Thursday.

VERNON, CT - The town's parks and recreation department is bringing back the popular summer concert series on Thursday with a performance by the 102nd Army Band of the Connecticut National Guard.

The Mayor Daniel Champagne Concert Series will feature four shows at Henry Park on Thursdays through Aug. 18. All Shows are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. near the picnic grove at Henry Park. Those attending should bring lawn chairs.

  • Thursday, Aug. 18: 102nd Army Band of the Connecticut National Guard.
  • Thursday, Aug. 4: Simply Swing, sponsored by Farmington Bank.
  • Thursday, Aug. 11: Radio Ranch Band, sponsored by Superior Energy.
  • Thursday, Aug. 18: Eastview Drive Band with special guest Fugit, sponsored by Superior Energy.
