Vernon Schools Closed on Monday

While the town continues to dig out from the weekend blizzard, schools in Vernon will be closed on Monday.

Good Afternoon.

This is Mary Conway, Superintendent of Schools in Vernon.

Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 while the cleanup from Friday's snowstorm continues.  

We are grateful to the Department of Public Works, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and our Vernon Public Schools custodians who are working hard to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks to ensure our students' safety.  

I repeat; the Vernon Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11.
