Vernon Schools Implementing Cold Weather Protocol for Walkers
Find out where students who walk to school can get a ride via bus.
Dr. Mary Conway, Superintendent of Schools today announced that due to the extremely cold weather conditions that are predicted for tomorrow morning, January 8, 2015, Vernon Public Schools will be implementing its student transportation cold weather response protocol. “We are making accommodations to shorten the walking distances students have to their respective schools by offering school bus transportation service at selected locations. These accommodations apply to students that normally walk to school” stated Dr. Conway.
