Vernon Town Council Back in the Council Chambers

Tuesday's scheduled meeting is the first since renovations were finished — see what's on the agenda.

VERNON, CT — Town Council meetings are back in the council chambers in town hall.

The first meeting of the council since the chambers were closed for renovations is slated for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The council had been meeting temporarily in the Vernon Board of Education meeting room.

The chambers are located on the upper floor at Town Hall.

  • An executive session to discuss negotiations between the town and the Water Pollution Control Authority union.
  • Mayor Daniel Champagne's appointment of John LaBossier as building official.

  • Disposal of surplus items from Northeast and Lake Street schools at public auction.
