Vernon Voters Endorse Senior Center Project
Voters approved a bonding package to pay for the project.

VERNON, CT — Voters at a Tuesday referendum approved a plan to construct a new senior center at the former Ticket Network site on Bolton Road.
The vote passed with 829 people voting yes to approve $3.245 million in bonds to pay for the project and 396 voters casting "no" ballots, according to the official tally sheet.
The property is located at 135 Bolton Road. It sits just south of the Interstate-84 overpass.
