Vernon Woman accused of drunken driving with 'missing kids' in the car.

VERNON, CT — Three children who had been declared missing showed up in a car being driven by a woman who registered more than twice the legal limit, police said.
The call about the missing children came into a police Monday at 10:39 p.m. Officers went to 63 Valley View Lane to investigate and the children — a 2-year-old and twin 8-month olds — were returned home in a car driven by 29-year-old Chantelle Kellner, according to a report.
The children were "improperly restrained," according t a report.

According to a report, after police noticed the smell of alcohol in the vehicle, they administered first field sobriety tests, which Kellner failed, a then pair of breath tests on Kellner, which resulted in readings of .2184 and .2131, well past the legal limit of .08 for blood alcohol concentration.
Kellner, whose listed address is 63 Valley View, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, two counts of a rear-facing car seat violation, three counts of driving under the influence with minors as passengers, and three counts of risk of injury to a child, according to a report.

She was held overnight on a $10,000 bond and was to appear in court on Tuesday.
