Visions for Vacancies: A New Neighbor Needed for Two Old Friends

At Vernon Patch, we just love your input. 

And in a column called Visions for Vacancies, we give you a chance to do just that. 

We take a vacant commercial parcel - in this case in a busy, centrally located shopping plaza near a pair of local icons - and ask you to tell us what would should go there. 

There are two prominent vacancies at the Shops at 30, located at 435 Hartford Turnpike. It's the same plaza as Rein's Deli and Zahner's Clothiers. Yes, we have zoning regulations, but put that aside for now and just imagine what would look good in either of the vacancies.
