Wingstop Coming to Vernon

Texas-based wings joint Wingstop will be opening a location in Vernon.

The restaurant will be located at 35 Talcottville Rd. It is expected to open in mid-May, according to CT Now.

Another Wingstop location opened in Hartford recently and another could open in Storrs later this year.

Wingstop offers classic and boneless wings with 11 different sauce flavors, according to its website. It also has a number of other menu options.

The restaurant first opened in 1994 and has since sold 3.7 billion wings.
