Bring the family out for a fun outdoor movie night on the grounds of The Apple Barrel Farm Market! We'll be showing the musical fantasy film, "Wicked", a movie telling the untold story of how two unlikely friends - Elphaba, the misunderstood girl with green skin, and Glinda, the popular blonde - become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Plan to arrive at 5:15 PM. Feature presentation starts at 6 PM. Please bring blankets and chairs for your comfort. Snacks and drinks available for purchase at the Lyman Orchards Creamery ice cream window at The Apple Barrel Farm Market until 8:45pm.

We’re excited to return to Lyman Orchards this weekend with our Goat Cuddle Brigade. Guests can enjoy 15‑minute cuddle sessions for $10 per person, meeting the goats right at the orchard and experiencing a charming colonial‑themed visit with the herd. It’s a wonderful way to spend the day—enjoying the orchard, snapping photos, and sharing a fun, memorable moment with our goats.
Minors cannot make reservations to handle a goat alone, but can be added as an additional helper to assist an adult handler on the goat walk. There must be at least 1 adult person who will be the handler for each goat.

The earliest archaeological site in Connecticut extends back 12,500 years ago and represents the initial settlement of Indigenous Peoples in our state. From the end of the Ice Age to the present day, Native Americans have adapted constantly to changing environments and landscapes. State archaeologist emeritus Nick Bellantoni will review Native American cultural changes from the recession of the glaciers to European settlement based on archaeological studies. He will explore the working relationship between archaeologists and Connecticut’s Indigenous community, as well as the evidence found in archaeological sites around the state, including those in Wallingford. Additionally, Nick will bring artifacts such as tools, pottery pieces, and other cultural materials for the audience to see up close.&nbsp;
