Finex Credit Union will host a Shred Day on Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its Wallingford branch, located at 159 S Turnpike Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492. The event is open to the public.
The event will give community members an opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents in a safe and convenient way. Attendees may bring up to three boxes of paper documents per person. Only paper documents will be accepted for shredding.
In addition to shredding services, Finex will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for Connecticut Foodshare during the event.
Finex invites community members to stop by with documents to shred and, if they are able, bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

<h4>Seasonal Snuggles to Welcome Spring at the Orchard!</h4>
Saturday, April 18th 10 AM - 1 PM
Families can enjoy a special round of 15‑minute Goat Snuggle sessions at Lyman Orchards throughout the spring season. Our friendly goats will be on‑site, offering quick, cozy visits that fit easily into a day at the orchard. As the weather warms from March into May, these shorter sessions are perfect for younger guests or anyone looking for a sweet, low‑commitment cuddle experience away from the farm. Each date brings its own touch of springtime charm, making it a simple and heartwarming addition to your orchard outing.
Minors cannot make reservations to handle a goat alone, but can be added as an additional helper to assist an adult handler on the goat walk. There must be at least 1 adult person who will be the handler for each goat.
$10 per person
