Car Stolen From Wallingford, Crashes In Woodbridge: Police

Two arrests have been made, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Two teens have been arrested for stealing a car out of Wallingford and crashing it in Woodbridge, police said. At 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 28 Woodbridge officers responded to Racebrook Road near Old Racebrook Road for a car into a car, police said.

Officers arrived, and found the driver had fled the scene and determined the vehicle was reported stolen out of Wallingford, police said. While investigating this accident, police received a call from a house on Timber Lane stating that their vehicle, in the driveway, was just turned on by an unknown person, police said.

CT State Police responded with a K9 and searched the area. Woodbridge Detectives took over the investigation.
