Connex Credit Union kicks off fourth quarter “Coins for Change” program benefiting local community organizations for 2013
Wallingford, Conn. (October 1, 2013) – Connex Credit Union will donate all fees collected from their North Haven branch coin counting machine from October 1 through December 31 to the Sisters’ Project. The coin counting machine charges 5 percent to Connex members and 7 percent to non-members. Every quarter Connex chooses different local organizations for each of their four coin counting machines located in Guilford, Hamden, North Haven and Wallingford.
The Sisters’ Project is a group of biological sisters and sisters through friendship that are committed to raising funds in support of cancer patients and their families. For the past couple years the Sisters’ Project has been dedicated to bringing tranquility to cancer patients and their families at Masonicare.
