As a part of its community giving program, ConnexCares, Connex Credit Union recently donated $513.13 to The Sisters’ Project. The donated funds were raised from the fees collected by Connex’s coin-cashing machine in Wallingford. Connex charges a five percent fee to members and a seven percent fee to non-members and donates the fees collected to caring organizations in the community.
“Connex has a long and proud tradition of supporting local organizations and worthy causes,” said Carl Casper, vice president of customer advocacy, Connex Credit Union. “We hope this money helps The Sisters’ Project continue the good work they do helping families affected by cancer.”
The Sisters’ Project is a group of biological sisters and sisters through friendship that are committed to raising funds in support of cancer patients and their families.
