Coons Appointed Assessor In Wallingford

The appointment was recently announced.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Kevin Coons has been appointed as Assessor for the town of Wallingford, Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr. recently announced.

Coons has worked in the Assessor’s Office since June 2005 and worked as a Property Appraiser and then became a Chief Appraiser. He has been acting Assessor since July 2021.

Coons, who graduated from Manhattanville College in New York in 1990, works as part of the Comptroller's Office for the Town of Wallingford.

“We are very pleased with Mr. Coons work, including completion of the October Grand List on time within the difficulties and parameters presented by the pandemic,” Dickinson wrote in a news release. “He supervises an office with seven employees at full staffing.”

His appointment was effective March 3.
