WALLINGFORD, CT — All Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department spring programs have been pushed back to begin on March 30, according to officials. The department will re-evaluate the situation week-to-week and will notify all participants by March 27 of any updates or changes, according to Parks and Recreation Director Kenny Michaels.

The department is also adjusting its hours. The office will be open for normal business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to Michaels. The office will be closed from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed all day on Saturday and Sunday. All transactions for spring and summer recreation programs can be done online at www.wallingfordrec.com.

“All programs that are canceled during this time will be added to the end of the session for make ups,” Michaels wrote in a message to Parks & Recreation participants. “If classes cannot be made up, credits and refunds will be issued. During this time, the Parks and Recreation staff will continue to work on summer program scheduling, development and planning. All program equipment will be taken out and will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.
