Couple Charged After Child Injured During Dispute At Walmart In Wallingford: Report

The child fell out of a shopping cart and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Two people were arrested after a 16-month-old child fell out of a shopping cart while they were arguing in the self-checkout line at Walmart in Wallingford on Monday night, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports the child was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Tristan Pleines, 31, of Cheshire, and Shelbia Herbig, 31, of New Britain, were both charged for the incident.
