A Wallingford woman's Shitzu-Poodle was allegedly mauled to death by her neighbor's two dogs.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford woman's Shitzu-Poodle was allegedly mauled to death by her neighbor's two dogs, according to media reports. The incident occurred on the unidentified woman's front lawn on Bernadette Lane around 8:30 a.m., police said.
The owner of the poodle told police she had gone to take her dog for a walk when her neighbor's two pit bulls came running out of their yard two houses away, NBC Connecticut reported. The two dogs then allegedly attacked the poodle while the woman tried to get them to stop, police said.
A neighbor who saw the incident occur jumped in to try and help the woman break the dogs up, The Record-Journal reported. The owner of the two dogs then came out and took them back to his property.
