DUI Driver Crashes Into Vehicle, Gets Arrested: Wallingford PD

The driver was attempting to elude police at the time of the crash, according to a report.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man faces several charges after police say he was operating under the influence when he crashed into another vehicle while attempting to elude police, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Kyle Zawadzki, 26, of Carriage Drive, was arrested on Friday, April 30 after police responded to the parking lot of 950 Yale Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. on the report of a possible assault involving a man and a woman in car.

The car Zawadzki was operating left the parking lot as police arrived and ignored commands to stop before colliding with another vehicle, according to the Register.
