DUI Driver Had 4-Year-Old in Car: Wallingford Police

WALLINGFORD, CT — Elizabeth Conway, 44, of East Haven, faces several charges after Wallingford Police say she was driving under the influence with a 4-year-old in the car, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Conway was pulled over at about 10:45 a.m. last Friday after an officer observed her holding a cellphone to her ear.

Police determined that Conway was in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia and also said the child was not properly restrained, according to the Record-Journal.
