Expired Registration Leads to Drug Charges for Man
Wallingford Police arrested a town man on drug charges after spotting a car with an expired registration in a commuter lot.

An expired registration led to the arrest of a 55-year-old Wallingford man on drug charges, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Michael Gavrish, of 25 North Plains Highway, was arrested early Saturday morning after police observed a car in the Route 68 commuter lot with a registration that’s been expired since 2008 and plates that were last registered to a different car.
Police said Gavrish was found to be in possession of nearly 12 grams of crack cocaine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia, according to the Record-Journal.
